Turn on, tune in, drop out

I was scouring the book shelves in one of my favorite out-of-the-way book stores the other day when I stumbled into the hallucinogenic drug section. I was skimming through a few books when I noticed one in particular. The cover was colorful and psychedelic with a crazed looking old man smiling at nothing in particular. I was of course very curious about this book and who this elated man was and when I recognized the man to be none other than Timothy Leary, the psychedelic drug advocate and cultural icon of the 1960s, I knew I just had to read it.

Leary On Drugs makes me think, a lot. I know how terribly cliche it is to be introspective and question existence after reading something about mind altering drugs, but this book really is changing my perception on a lot of things.

Soon we will be reunited

Long over due from my girl Madi's birthday (with my hair straight). "Wild night" galavanting off to Yogurtland at the odd hours of the night...

This past week has been good and bad to extreme levels. Not sure what's going to happen next, but I'm ready.

Hot child in the city

Running wild and looking pretty.

Trying so hard right now to get everything back on track with my health, school and everything else in my life. How have I become so distracted?

Happy Easter!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I'm not really sure what this holiday is all about. Is it about Jesus' resurrection? Bunnies? Eggs? Children? Whatever the core meaning may be, now Easter is all about commercialism as Walmart urges the masses to buy, buy, buy as much chemical laden candy as possible. Happy Easter folks.
