Sea of Gold

Finally! It's is finished and I am pretty happy with the outcome. As the painting developed, it began to have a sort of Pandora's box theme. The disembodied (or maybe decapitated) head floating in the water for me represents Pandora and the box. The black mass writhing out of her mouth represents all things evil in the world. The golden background represents that the sun is up and the world is still bright, but not for long if the eye less Pandora is allowed to blindly spread hatred and disease throughout the world. The woman on the right looks to you, the viewer.

Not-So-Pure

What more can be said, The Virgins rock. When I was in New York I didn't listen to a whole lot of music, but when I did, it was all about One Week of Danger, Private Affair, and Rich Girls. I was into them a while back, but its been very recent that I started to listen to them again and my old feelings of adoration for this band came back in a flash. For those of you crazies who have not heard this genius band, go forth now and listen to them. You will not be disappointed.

Salvador Dali is by far my favorite artist. All of his art exudes genius with just a touch of insanity.
